Gabriella Madden
Serious Injury and Medical Negligence Litigator
Gabriella Madden - Serious Injury and Medical Negligence Litigator - originally qualified for the Bar at Middle Temple in 2009 and is now in the process of requalifying as a Solicitor to allow for greater day-to-day involvement with clients and the litigation process. With over 15 years of experience in litigation and a special focus on serious injury and clinical negligence claims, she has dedicated her legal career to giving a voice to those who might otherwise go unheard—especially individuals facing prejudice or navigating complex legal barriers. Gabriella has built her reputation on tackling complex and sensitive claims, particularly those involving serious injury and clinical negligence. She has successfully defended clients against allegations of fraud and exaggeration and has taken on cases that others have dismissed—often delivering powerful outcomes that truly change lives.
She is especially drawn to clinical negligence cases—not only for their complexity, but for their potential to bring about systemic improvements in care. In one standout case, Gabriella represented a pregnant client who was misdiagnosed by A&E. The claim not only resulted in significant compensation, but led to a hospital-wide change in how pregnant patients are triaged, helping to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Gabriella’s legal foundations are strengthened by a background in International Law and Human Rights, which she pursued following her degree. Her approach combines legal precision with genuine compassion, ensuring every client feels heard, supported, and empowered.
Outside of work, Gabriella is a proud mum to Phoenix and Miles, who keep her busy with gymnastics competitions and fascinating conversations about history (The Titanic is a current favourite). She recently got married in Las Vegas and shares a love of football with her husband as lifelong Manchester United fans.
